Let's really deliver a blow to ABC, lets try to get some actors to boycott
There are many big name Hollywood celebrities who are definately on our side in regards to the "Path to 9/11" propaganda piece, imagine the effect if they were to join us in our boycott.

Just think of the blow it would be to Disney if Johnny Depp publicly refused to make a "Pirates of the Carribean 4" or any other Disney movie in the future.

Imagine the blow if people like George Clooney, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, or any of the other big name progressives refused to sign another contract with Disney ever again.

If we can convince just a couple big names to join our boycott it will get a lot of attention and Disney will be hurt severely.

Lets use the power of the blogosphere to try to reach out to these people quick, and remember be polite. These people are on our side but if they do join our boycott it could potentially cost them tens of millions of dollars. We need to convince them it is worth the sacrifice.

3. All it takes is one or two big names to do serious damage
There are many progressives in Hollywood, I really don't think this is out of the question.

2. As an actor, I'll tell you right now, that's not going to happen. Even if
big names made public declarations that they refused to work for the fascists you've got the other 99% of SAG who are unemployed and a hundred thousand more non-SAG members who would leap at the chance to do any paying work whatsoever.

5. True, but there are some actors who bring in more money than others
Imagine if we could somehow convince Johnny Depp to join our boycott, do you know how much money he has raked in for Disney? If they lost him it would be a huge financial blow. One person can make a difference.

6. Have you noticed the trend toward making "stars" of reality tv show
contestants? Anyone can bring in bank if publicized correctly.

7. They can find new stars, but they can not replace the old
No one could replace Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Carribean. Just him alone, not to mention many of the other stars who have appeared in Disney films are irreplacable.

What if a key cast member walked off the set of a highly-rated ABC show, it could cause huge problems. As an actor I am sure you know the importance of the major players in any production.

9. what would happen? that actor would have a hell of time finding work
from anyone... No one is going to want to hire an actor that will try to deep six a multimillion dollar production.

8. Boycott the actors who acted in this right wing propaganda piece.
If they were a part of it, it's because they wanted to be a part of it.

10. Does anyone know how to get to George Clooney?
On the ABC blog page for this fiasco, they had positive quotes from some guy who was claiming to be a producer or something on "Syriana" and "Good Night and Good Luck." Knowing Clooney's politics, it struck me as odd. I read it last night so it might have been replaced by something else.
