Repub whining about the Webb ad will backfire big time...
Those kinds of copmplaints only works when there is something in the ad that can be spun as unfair (whether it is or not).

There is absolutely nothing in this ad which can be spun. All their complaints will do is induce folks to go watch the ad, and then wonder to themselves why the Republicans are complaining...

Meanwhile, they will see Ronald Reagan, a hero to many of them, praising Jim Webb to the hilt...

This is a BRILLIANT political move on the part of Webb...

Only because Nancy Reagan herself has called for pulling the ad. If it were just surrogates of Allen's calling for it to be pulled, then I would agree with you. But either way, Nancy Reagan doesn't have a case in this, because her husband's words are part of the public domain.
