GOP sleaze wave coming -- need pre-emptive action!

This is who and what we're up against:

Republicans are planning to spend the vast majority of their sizable financial war chest over the final 60 days of the campaign attacking Democratic House and Senate candidates over personal issues and local controversies, GOP officials said.

The National Republican Congressional Committee, which this year dispatched a half-dozen operatives to comb through tax, court and other records looking for damaging information on Democratic candidates, plans to spend more than 90 percent of its $50 million-plus advertising budget on what officials described as negative ads.

Interesting how Democrats are routinely described as a party with no ideas other than to attack Bush, when all these people have is dirt.

They control every branch of government, and our reputation is dirt, our treasury is dirt poor, and they leave our citizens to wallow in actual filth, as floodwaters sweep away their homes.

They are utterly valueless, and yet the media calls them the party of "moral values."

We need the DNC to make a loud, bold statement about GOP sleaze, to help alert citizens about the coming wave of excrement.

Cheney and Rice are saying the 9/11 Commission and the Friday Senate report are wrong. The DNC should force them to prove it or call them a LIARS.

4. I really think we need to get in front of this thing

We need to create a meme about how sleazy campaigning is ruining the country, and make Karl Rove the symbol of it. His hatchet job on John McCain (the "illegitimate black baby" thing) is one of the definitive examples.

Note how lame Sweeney's attacks are. Apparently Gillibrand owns stock in a company whose profits increased due to the Iraq Invasion so that makes her a war profiteer(?!). He also brings up the MoveOn/Hitler imagery issue which we all know is bullshit. Sweeney is desperate. (Note also how Guiliani looks like a wind-up clapping monkey.)

6. That's pretty tough when all the TV, radio, and newspapers work for Rove

As far as the Big 4 go, ABC is running the Rove-approved lie fest tonight and tomorrow. CBS has Katie Couric fellated Smirk right on the air, and Limpballs giving uncontested commentary every week. NBC has Russert and Williams giving the "news", and Fox is Fox.
