Republicans are getting downright hysterical!!
Seems like the more they're called upon to STOP using 9/11, fear, and their own brand of 'terrorism' for political gain, the more they ratchet up their rhetoric. Here's yet another example, from Boehner:

"The American people deserved better last night," Reid said in a statement. "They deserved a chance to reclaim that sense of unity, purpose and patriotism that swept through our country five years ago."

House Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, shot back at Democrats Tuesday: "I wonder if they're more interested in protecting the terrorists than protecting the American people," he said at a news conference. "They certainly don't want to take the terrorists on and defeat them."

By the way, how's that "defeat" going, Bonehead? Are we on track to "emerge victorious?" :eyes:

1. They've had five years to cram that down our throats
The nation burped.

The propaganda smells like vomit.

We all had PTSD, but we've been in counseling and see clearly now.

2. I wonder if anywhere deep down,
they realize just how completely ridiculous they sound. Don't any of them have at least one family member or friend who cares enough to say "Dude.... have you listened to yourself lately??"

4. The more they howl that anyone who disagrees with
how they're running this country(into the ground), the madder they're going to make anyone who is questioning just that.

I do love it when fascists overreach and overestimate their support.

5. what else do they have?
the wageless booming economic recovery?

the "fiscally responsible" deficit?

moral high ground on being honest about bribes?

they can't get photo ops with bush/cheney - much safer to have quiet, pre-screened gatherings where no press is allowed...

they only have the one leg, and it looks like they are beating themselves over their heads with it.

not sure what it looks like in your little corner of the woods, but all I've heard between yesterday and today from the people I work with is that they are sick of having 9-11 stuffed down their throats, sick of terror alerts for no good reason and damn sick of staying on a course to nowhere...

and these are comments from people who don't read more than the sports page of the local paper

6. Why would they be hysterical
if they could easily steal any election w/Diebold? Seems like both can't be true. Either they can steal elections & are smug; or they can't & are panicking.

8. They've only had to flip about 4% of the vote
to steal elections and have the sheep believe the results more than they believe the exit polls, the pre election polling, and all the rest.

It's starting to dawn on them just how angry a lot of people in this country are, and yes, they're panicking.

Either they leave things as they are and that 4% isn't enough, or they have to get really clumsy and the theft has to be transparent.

It will be interesting to see how it goes. My guess is that Florida and Ohio will be transparently dirty. Those are the areas they're most desperate to win.

9. If you think they're hysterical now ...
Just wait until they lose control of Congress. They'll be downright tantrum-throwing, diaper-crapping, bawling. I can't wait.

I want to listen to OxyPig Rush the day after the November elections, if the Pukes lose either or both houses of Congress.
