He is playing the political card heavy. More or less blaming confusion of war and terrorism on the opposition and politics while reporters are trying to get real answers.

They'd take the questions, robotically read out their prepared responses over and over again, then (probably) head back to their desk for a few belts of scotch. Tony seems to forget that he's not a member of the Fourth Estate anymore, and it's his job and duty to put up with the daily clubbing.

What a whiner. I suspect he'll be spending more time with his family real soon.

18. This is a snow job in July, nothing is sticking

He is trying so hard to expain how bush is trying to tell we the people why he is doing great in Iraq, safety in U.S., etc. and Snow says he lays awake at night trying to do the right thing (words to that effect). He said Maliki's meeting with Iranian leader was a good move for a leader of a country to make nice with their opponents - wonder why bush hasn't learned that lesson. This press conf. is more fun than usual as he is sinking fast and making goofy remarks.
