lineup for tonights "real time: with Bill Maher"
This week's guests on Real Time with Bill Maher include actor Rob Schneider, former US Senator Carol Mosley Braun and journalist Andrew Sullivan. Joining via satellite will be author Ron Suskind and Governor of Michigan Jennifer Granholm. Real Time with Bill Maher is broadcast live without a net on Fridays at 8:00PM ET (8:00PM PT, tape delay), followed by a taped replay at 11:30PM (ET/PT)!

I went to a taping 2 weeks ago. Looks like they only have Kerry and Dean supporters represented, oh well

1. Two against one, as usual
Two Repukes -- Sully and Schneider, who is like a younger Dennis Miller, only less funny, if that's possible.
And you know CM Braun will be polite and sweet, and they'll walk all over her.
At least it's a tad better than last week's panel, which was ALL Repukes.

13. Sean Astin Was SUCH A BORE!
One of those actors who just loves to hear himself talk. He got a couple of LOOKS from Bill -- I'd be really surprised if he was on again!

14. he was grating -- kept making me change the channel
Astin would persistently speak over the other panel members, even though he wasn't saying anything very interesting or contentious. I hope he's not on again in the future...

6. just watch and decide for yourself
All I ever hear him do is praise Bush, in the vein of the "kill them all and let God sort them out" philosophy

8. i think on the war like dennis miller
i think he is right wing on issues like war, terrorism etc. but not right wing on things like gay rights, separation of church and state etc. so he is pretty m uch like dennis miller i guess. i say this because i remember him being opposed to 10 commandments in public places. not sure if he has changed though.

7. Uh, Rob Shneider isn't a republican
I don't know if he's a democrat but he supported Arianna Huffington for governor and he quoted Noam Chomsky in one of the last episodes of Politically incorrect

11. hbo.com
The line-up is posted on hbo.com now, for those of you who couldn't find it on the web.

Sullivan had a weird column in Time this week where he says the Democrats should nominate Dean, even though he won't vote for him. I wonder if he'll bring that up on the show.
