Last night's commentary shows there is still some hope for our country to regain the posture it has lost as a world leader. While big media consolidates into a politically partisan monster that spins the news the way the ruling party wants, those that choose to believe what networks like Fox or ABC broadcast are still fearing there are terrorists everywhere, even in their kitchen cabinets. Disney and ABC, long supposed to be neutral, now air a blatant bag of lies about 9-11 which drive the terrorist point home. The comparison of Keith Olbermann to Edward R. Murrow is accurate, and he is taking on more of that veteran newsman’s stature. Both have taken on popular idealism and delivered a blow for free thinking people everywhere. How well Mr. Olbermann's oratory on 9-11-06 effects public opinion remains to be seen. For it to be enacted upon the media has to pick it up and keep rebroadcasting it, a difficult thing to happen in our locked down media state. It is the loudest shout for impeachment since Hurricane Katrina hit, and Mr. Olbermann's call to arms came just at the right time. I hope enough media attention will get this message out so that the American people can respond to his call to fight the bad King George.
