Just got my first Republican junk mail of the season
It is for Craig Foltin, running in District 13 in Ohio for the seat the Sherrod Brown is vacating. Funny thing is he never mentions that he is a Republican but he does slam Betty Sutton for supposedly not living in the district.

It also contains a collage of pics of Foltin swinging a sledge hammer, using a shovel, swinging a hammer (with a mighty fair golf grip I might add but if he really hit something he's break his thumb), and in a Indian's jacket doing something that's appears to be working in dirt (wearing spanking clean white garden gloves.

Yep I'm convinced, I'm going to tear down Betty's sign in my yard right now!

1. Don't forget to put it back in its self addressed envelope and
send the propaganda right back to them. If enough people do it, this action should make a dent in their postage funds. And make you feel better. How dare they bother you with this useless baloney.

3. Can you put "return to sender" on it? I wonder what would
happen.

4. I think it would end up in the dead letter office
but I'd love to hear from any postal workers about that.

5. When I get the repuke propaganda with a return postage paid envelope,
I always write them a very polite obscenity telling them exactly what I think of them and use their own postage to send it back to them. And just for good measure, I always fold up about 6 or 8 pieces of plain paper to make sure the thing is overweight requiring additional postage. Don't know if it matters or not, but I figure I'd rather be on the safe side!

7. I wish all DUers would collect all the repuke junk
they get in the mail until after the elections & then get it all together somewhere for a massive, ceremonial burning...bonfire of the vanities... It would be so damned satisfying.

8. Save it! It's the framing-suitable propaganda art of the future.
I wish I had some of that southern literature with a bible in a circle-slash, and other ludicrous nonsense they send.

9. Are you registered as a Rep or did they just mass-mail?
(that's not a slam - I've thought about registering as a Rep - you know, keep your friends close and your enemies closer...)

10. I get hives around Republicans, so no I'm --
not registered as one. It was a mass mailing.
