there used to be a popular satire of wasteful Pentagon spending that said: "a billion here and a billion there and, before you know it, it adds up to real money" ...
it's a great thing that the Democrats are able to do well with fundraising ... it was a major problem in the past; it seems current fundraising should make the Party very able to compete with the fat-cat party ...
that's the good news ... but where is the funding coming from and what does it suggest about "lobbyists" and buying influence and the Party's ultimate agenda? is it reasonable to assume that the big spenders described in the article below contribute with "no strings attached"??
