I think he did a pretty damn good job. He's not nearly as dull and boring as he's branded to be. He said that if the Democrats retake the House and Senate in 2006 he would support independent investigations on President Bush. He also highlighted the fact that Republicans never hesitated to initiate investigations on President Clinton regardless of the reason, but they have yet to investigate this president on a single issue.

3. Yea, I voted for him yesterday
there is no way Michael Steale, the Lt. Governor will win against him, he's even afraid to
debate him.

5. He has the experience and can do the job
I think Cardin can get the job done, I liked Sarbanes and it would be nice to have someone that good back in the saddle.

:-)

6. I saw it and I thought he did very well.
He had all the right answers. In particular I liked how he mentioned Mfume and the fact that they're friends and that Mfume would be helping him get elected. None us us know what that means, but the two are friends. I expect there'll be at least *some* campaigning together.

8. I was very impressed with Cardin
Lately it's been the opposite on Hardball. Whenever Matthews asks the predictable question, "What's your position on Iraq?," our candidates tend to wobble all over the place and Matthews gets a little grin on his face, sensing it's a timid answer. I thought Busby, McCaskill and Pererson were suprisingly unprepared to answer that question in the past week or so.

Cardin was much better. I think he'll win fairly handily, 5-10 points.
