Repukes bagging on Sebelius because of Abortion I am sick of them
Bishop asks Catholics to pray for Sebelius on abortion
Associated Press
LAWRENCE -- Roman Catholics in northeast Kansas have been asked to pray for Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to "reconsider her long held position supporting legalized abortion."

The request came from Archbishop Joseph Naumann, of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, in a Sept. 8 column in the diocesan newspaper The Leaven, with a circulation of 52,900.

"It is never permissible for a Catholic to support the legalization of the killing of innocent lives by abortion, much less lead the fight for legal abortion," Naumann wrote.

While questioning Sebelius' record on abortion, he stopped short of asking Catholics to vote against her.

1. Hmmm, protecting his tax exempt status I suspect!
I'm a Catholic, and although I would never have an abortion, and I couldn'tassist anyone in having one, I believereligion has NO PLAACE in politics. The Archbishop should stay out of it!

2. Well, they didn't go far enough to jeopardize their tax status.
Just to the very edge...

Go Kathleen. Go!

3. The GOP plays to its strengths.
Since it has such a dismal track record for policies relating to people who've actually been born, it's pretty much forced to focus on embryos.
