Now that talk has turned to Congress being in derelection of duty for failing to oversee the Bush administration, it's clear that their whole operation is in jeopardy. They're desperately trying to look like they have the guts to challenge Bush on SOMETHING. His feigned indignation is just part of the act. They're trying to play up the "differences".
