Bush Campaign to Donate Illegal Donation




COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Donations that a former coin dealer funneled to President Bush's re-election campaign will be given to charity, barring further directions from authorities, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee said Friday.

Tom Noe, 52, has admitted arranging a contribution scheme to fulfill his promise to generate $50,000 for a Bush-Cheney fundraiser. He was sentenced Tuesday to two years and three months in prison on three charges, including exceeding federal campaign contribution limits.

1. Wasn't the money taken from the pension fund from Ohio State employees?

Shouldn't the money be returned to the pension fund along with interest and fines?

I don't think Bush should be allowed to keep the money. I don't think it is his to give away. And by charity does he mean some right wing fundy group that will use the money to elect more Repubs?
