31. Something about that doesn't make sense
I just read an article recently that said women now outnumber men in the US. Probably less women vote than men , I guess, that is the only explanation except Diebold for the results we have tody if that graphic is correct..

7. I like to share Great News!
And the Rocky Mtn News leans way right.

SNIP:
With President Bush's popularity sinking in Colorado, Republicans have a steep uphill climb, said pollster Lori Weigel.

At the same time, the state's key unaffiliated voters are leaning Democratic, said political consultant David Kenney.

"On issue after issue, the unaffiliated voters that are the key to the kingdom in Colorado are aligning themselves with Democratics," said Kenney.

"We're seeing here on the ground the energy among Republicans is way down and Democrats are excited. They see the opportunity to win on all levels."

The poll findings are based on statewide telephone interviews of 500 registered voters who said they are likely to vote in November.

It was conducted Sept. 10 through Sept. 12 by Weigel of Public Opinion Strategies, a firm that generally polls for Republican candidates.

6. its the second question that worries me..
sept 2006..

right direction for colorado..51%

the numbers were better last year for getting rid of rethuglicans in the state of colorado..

what is going on nationally many times does not transfer locally..we need them out ..but this does not say the people of colorado think their own have anything to do with whats going on nationally..

that concerns me..

17. the right direction numbers could be a reflection of satisfaction
with the job the Democrats have done since taking over both Houses ... as compared to the nonsense we got from the Republicans when they controlled the Statehouse.

I truly think the election this November is going to be a continuation of what started in 2004 here in CO. The governor's office seems like ours for sure, with at least one pickup in the House of Representatives and maybe three...

CO is turning blue.

12. Are these numbers Diebold-able?
Because if they are, the will be.

I think we need 20% margins on election night to be safe.

16. most pundits in CO considered the 2004 election here
to be honest, outside of the usual tactics - not enough voting machines in a couple of places, some confusion (deliberately caused)
about what precinct to vote in, etc.

27. If CO has a republican Sec. of State (they count the votes)-there WILL
be electronic voting machine fraud in precincts where republicans need the seat they are counting on to hold their majority.

Does CO have a republican Secretary of State?

Edited on Sun Sep-17-06 05:49 PM by HawkeyeX
Gigi Dennis, the R bitch is already in trouble by attempting to withhold candidate donations from 527's and local unions and the like that was just overturned by the court.

She'll be watched WAY closely.

Edited on Sat Sep-16-06 05:20 PM by indepat
Joe contended. Repugs will win all key races wherein those who count the votes (Diebold-type machines) want the Repugs to win.

like OH Senate and a couple of house races here and there, and all these polls will be worth less than the Charmin he wipes his spotty fat ass with.

23. Something weird about one of those answers
"I have always believed that going to war in Iraq was the wrong thing for the U.S. to do."

Up from 30% in December 2003 to 41% now.

So who are these 11% of Coloradans who "have always believed" something now that they they didn't believe three years ago?
