1. Unless, they already have the election in the bag
With the news of the ease at which the e-voting machines can be hacked, they may already know who has won and by how much.

2. I wonder if there are liberal hackers waiting in the wings?
I always wonder that ... Maybe somewhere, some time, people have flipped or will flip elections our way as well.

21. You'll hear Republicans say that if we win the House.
They won't let an opportunity like that pass them by. I think that's the only way we'll get paper trails everywhere.

you don't hoodwink those people, they are angry and suspicious now. I think Bush is not
going to be pleased with the retelling of his "fool me once" tale. This time I don't
think he will be please with how it turns out.

24. We need to be prepared to get just as ugly, uglier even.
It's clear that they have already perpetrated election fraud numerous times. We must, therefore, assume they will do it again and prepare accordingly.

8. hmmm, maybe that's it....(?)
fact- the gopigs must hand over power to the democratic party (if only for the sake of their kids/grandkids)
fact- bush and his idiocracy are terrified of getting the chair for treason etc, and refuse to consider leaving
fact -one of the tricks of the gopig success has been diebolt, but, again, the men who run things know that the democrats must take the wheel....
the mass media has enabled bush all along (had they subjected bush even to 1/4 of the scrutiny of an al gore or clinton etc bush never left austin) and could well continue to do so, indeed much of the pigmedia is still promoting bush despite everything, but behind the scenes the pigs who make the buig choices have decided to let bush's weaknesses become too apparent, and thus assure that the democrats win from here on in - bush is going crazy because he's going to be thrown under the rails (lol)
fact - there aint a goddam thing he can do about it

12. and, ironically, doctoring the news is working against them!
what the gopigs secretly gloat over (their ability to sell the BIG LIE to the sheepie peepie these last 2 etcetra generations) is now their worst problem -it forces them to stop doing that which they're actually great at, and allow random truthfulness to play in the media. SO, they must overcome their own propensity to take easy road, as the democrats can't or won't do it for them. The very badness of the gop is what makes them frightened of giving up power, the record, but if they hold onto it, the (cooked somewhat) golden goose is just cooked some more; they must give up power eventually, but...but...but....lol!)
it must drive the gopigs mad that clinton and dean, kerry, al gore and pelosi etc are not tearing geeb, that's jeb's brother, to pieces, with all the ammo they got!

16. I want dems to LOSE in 2006....here is my reason...
Edited on Sun Sep-17-06 01:35 AM by fuzzyball
The economy is on the verge of tanking with housing collapse
as the trigger. If dems win in 2006, they will be blamed by
the media. Then in 2008 it will be GOP back in power for another
12 years.

I would rather have the repugs be in charge while economy tanks
in 2007-2008 and then have a thorough cleansing in 2008 by the dems.

Can't have our brave soldiers getting killed for two more years.
Can't afford to have the deficit go up and the military complex getting bigger for two more years. Can't have the rich getting richer for two more years. Can't have that bush gang of thugs having their policy enacted upon for two more years. How many more wars will be started in two more years. We have to stop them now!

20. fuzzy, do you think it can ever be 'biz as usual'....
what we have here is treason, plain and simple. the busheviks have schemed FOR A GENERATION or more to pervert the political system, exploit its known flaws and overturn the popular will, by any means, fair or foul, and they've been too damn successful. once the busheviks/gopigs/nazipoohs or whatever we callem are removed from power, nothing can prevent the truth from becoming known, and, like putting javex in a pail full of maggoty meat, the stinkbots (ie the reppukes) not gonna like it....watch em squirm.
hate the sin, despise the sinner! = the new normal as defined by bush etc; from democracy to demonocracy in 6 years

22. Some truth to that, my only fear is dems will be blamed for the
impending severe recession/depression which I see coming
in 6-12 months. And it won't be just the United States,
it will be a global recession triggered by the housing
collapse in US.

23. I think such a recession can be avoided
provided a responsible congress and executive emerge from the upcoming elections. There are major economic problems that are being exacerbated by this war and our subservience to special interests; especially, but not limited to, the big oil interest.

32. I don't think the impending severe recession can be avoided
The Fed dropping the interest rates to 1% was way overdone.
It made it possible for people to borrow for more house than
they need and many borrowed (30%+) with no money down and
interest only loans. Then there are those with Adjustable Rate
Mortgages (ARM). On top of all that there is a large inventory
of houses being built in the pipeline while demand is declining.

31. Ofcourse Bush is the real blame but if it happens in 2007 then
Dems will be blamed if in control. You know how that
goes...the party in charge gets the credit or blame
even if they are in power just a few months.

Yeah...we've come so far now, allowing torture, spying on our citizens, cutting the safety net, mind-numbing deficits and endless warring. Can you just imagine what Pelosi would do? She might issue SUBPEONAS! Why, our very system of government might fall under as a consequence!

What douchebags.
