4. Started waaaaaaaaaaaaaay back.

I belonged to a soap opera yahoo group. SOAP OPERA. Being a private email list, we said a lot of things we wouldn't say in public. Such as fasntasies of vile and horrific deaths well-deserved by General Hospital management. And I'm pretty sure that I compared Jill Farren Phelps the Executive Producer to George W. Bush in incompetence.

And did I mention that one of our members was married to a Muslim man named Mohammed? Who was mentioned reasonably frequently for his pithy comments on Sonny Corinthos?

One day, some months after 9/11, the list was locked. Couldn't get in. Yahoo couldn't help. Nobody else's list was locked. Went on for weeks. Finally started another list. Never knew what happened.

But I have this fantasy of FBI agents carefully reading 40,000 emails about the lousy writing on GH.

It cost them thousands in bail money, along with all the other Muslim families scrambling to come up with bail for their men. It was quite crowded. Mostly with Pakistanis. Mohammed is Jordanian.

Scared a lot of hardworking family men half to death after 9/11, they did.
