The 'Super Tuesday' primaries on September 12th were the last great battle for who would be the Democratic Party’s nominees to face the Republican incumbents in the November Mid-term Election. We now have 56 vets who are the official nominees
The following is a summary of the FDs who have survived the primary season and are advancing on their GOP incumbent opponents. Some of these were in districts long since ceded to the Republican (but no longer!), and others won their primary battles. The following information is from our website

It is needless to say that there are many superb non-vet Fighting-Dems. A selection of some of the finest, like Carol Shea-Porter in New Hampshire, will soon be added to the site. If you want to indicate your favorite or favorites in your comments, they will be considered as soon as it is figured out how to determine a finite list that does not give the whole long list of candidates running across the land. That is just beyond the capacity of the webmaster. It is a site devoted to vets, but it picks at the heartstrings to leave off so many deserving non-vets who are going to help us take back Congress.
The Fighting-Dems.com site is being updated as the editor just returned from the mountains of central Taiwan to the university where he has broad band and not dialup. So he begs your patience.
