Pat Buchanan calls for Bush impeachment
Republican firebrand Patrick Buchanan said yesterday that President Bush should be impeached for failing to stem the "invasion" of illegal immigrants across America's Southern border.

"I think he's committed an impeachable offense in refusing to enforce the immigration laws and in failing to uphold the Constitution by defending the states against this invasion," Buchanan told radio talk show host Curt Smith in an interview broadcast yesterday on National Public Radio stations in Buffalo and Rochester.

of The Geneva Conventions, i.e. see The McLaughlin Group today.

It's times like these I know that although I agree with Buchanan with regard to the Goal (Impeachment), it is for very different reasons.

But as they say, "Any Port in a Storm." If The Executive Branch is able to EVEN reach a compromise with The Senate, "The Authorities" will have power to grab ANY of us Americans off of the street and spirit us off to Secret Prisons. If you think it could not happen to YOU or YOURS, think again. The Executive Branch will be One Giant Step closer to Absolute Power, i.e., No Checks, nor Balances. :nuke:

We need to send emails of support to the Republican Senators who are standing up for American's Civil Liberties. All The Executive Branch has to do is LABEL any ONE Group "Domestic Terrorists" and off we go to a secret place where our loved ones will have zero contact with us! Yikes indeed. :scared:

33. And those awful, awful, dispicable, evil, nonhuman, brown people
are coming up from the warmer south and systematically destroying the unions and willingly giving blowjobs to corporate America and stealing our white women and driving cars that ride low to the ground and are willing to work 16 hours a day and live in cramped, awful quarters to send money back to Mexico so their families can buy food so they can live, and that makes you cry.

Well, then, perhaps the Democrats need to become the "Genocide on Brown People Party". That ought to bring in the votes!!

The Mexican Flag is already flying in some southern towns.

Everything the president touches is treason, but immigration is a powerful weapon to wake up real conservatives.

16. Selling his book...and getting more attention for it by his latest raving.
I had to turn him off "C-Span Booknotes" last night where he was giving a talk and discussion. While I think we have a huge problem with "Undocumented Workers" Buchanan was raving and carrying on so much about MEXICANS TAKING OVER AMERICA...that I had to turn him OFF. And, I really wanted to hear what he said if he'd not been so frantic and hysterical.

he just wants to "ramp up" his book sales and that's why he's calling for Impeachment. Once a Nixon always a Nixon ...and Pat never GOT OVER working as Nixon Speech Writer and will fight for Nixon's views to the death. Nixon's views were quite racist ...he didn't like black or Jews unless he could use them...and then they were his friends. That's just what Buchanan does as one of the "Inside the Beltway Crowd." I just can't take anything he says that seriously when he's out to make a buck out of his mouth.

Of course, I agree with everyone here about the perverse humor of him getting the answer right for the wrong reasons.

MEXICO CITY -- President Vicente Fox has rehired the Texas public relations man and GOP political consultant who quietly helped engineer his election victory in 2000. This time, Fox wants Rob Allyn & Co. to put the brakes on growing anti-immigration, anti-Mexican sentiment in the United States

21. I see
that Buchanan is not alone in having the wrong priorities. If all illegal immigrants were sent home, this country would stop functioning. The US needs them for their cheap labor, they'll never stop entering the boarders. Plus, they have the neocon's support. The more cheap labor, the better, that's reality.

By neocon, I mean 50% of the entire US population.

23. The president is a traitor
He is destroying the bill of rights .
He is destroying the image of the US in the world
He is destroying the army and national guard with along with the soldiers families
He and his friends are financing campaigns and rallies for immigrants and are helping to not enforce the borders
, police and other officials are told to let illegals do whatever they want ( no car license, no insurance, no papers).
He signed the NAU and many roads and other things have been sold to foreign countries.

"At what point shall we expect the approach of danger? By what means
shall we fortify against it? Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant,
to step the Ocean, and crush us at a blow? Never! All the armies of Europe,
Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own
excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander,
could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the
Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years. At what point, then, is the
approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us it must
spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot,
we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we
must live through all time, or die by suicide.

Abraham Lincoln

But people are to blind to see.

I don't think 50% are Neocons, don't forget the stolen elections. And a big part of the Republican voters don't even know what a Neocon is.

25. not 50%?
then what? 40%, 45%? The fact that Repugs don't know what a neocon is doesn't mean that they are not one. A neocon is a person who wants American dominance even if for that, America has to commit genocide, rape, theft and labor exploitation. Many Americans go along with that thinking, and I say it's about 50%. Thank God we have the other 50%.

I agree with everything you wrote about Bush, including the immigration issue. I just think that given his Nazi background, Pat Buchanan should be exposed as the psychopath that he is for asking Bush's impeachment on the account of just that one issue.

38. Did anyone see Buchanan on Bill Maher's "Real Time"?
He did surprisingly well at getting Maher's dependably liberal audience to applaud some of his points about immigration. It's on "On Demand," if your cable system has it.

While he's obviously xenophobic, and maybe downright racist (does anyone have the goods on his most extreme quotes?), it doesn't mean he's completely wrong on immigration policy. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Unless it's a broken LED-style clock, which -- like Bush -- is never correct.
