Bush is evil, but Kerry/Gephardt is a Betrayal

I expect Bush to be evil--I don't expect the party I support to betray me by expecting me to vote for the worst possible choice given my values. We Dean people have spoken and asked for someone to voice our concerns clearly and without nuance. OK, maybe we can't have the top of the ticket, and maybe we can't have Dean at all, but there should be someone on the ticket who in some small way represents us. We gave a lot of money and did a lot of work, and if we have to take Kerry, you can give us better than Gephardt. If you don't, then I really will not give you my vote. I would rather give my pinch of incense at Bush's altar, and suffer the next four years, than give into a total betrayal by the party I trusted.
