all i gotta say after watching it earlier today is JIM WEBB is 'da man!

that dude not only knows his stuff, but is bitingly sarcastic and has a quick wit.

after watching that debate, how anyone could vote for allen is beyond me.

webb got so many zingers in i couldn't believe it -- and when he replied to the questioner regarding his comments about women in the military "i guess this is my macaca moment" -- i about fell outta my chair!

this guy's a rarity -- got the smarts and heart of a democrat, but the quick mouth and media savviness of a republican.

hope virginia puts him in office!

i see a big future for him.

2. Yep...and after watching both Gore and Kerry debate Dimson,

I thought that both elections would be slam dunks. We can never underestimate the ability/desire of the public to choose the candidate that is right there with them intellectually...meaning comfort of having someone as flawed, dumb, or corrupt governing them!

Now here is where I would edit Kerry to say something he didn't, but should have:

Kerry: And you forgot Osama!

If Kerry said those four words, he would've won with near 60% of the electorate.

6. nah, webb is different

though i absolutely ADORE gore -- he doesn't have that biting sarcasm or quick wit that many republican politicians and tv personalities have -- that make them so effective (like a sean hannity or bill o'reilly)

this guy's different... kinda like a feingold in a way.

10. I saw it early yesterday morning.

Damn! Webb literally blew Allen out of the water. They showed the video tape of Allen calling that young man macaca. If Allen didn't look like an idiot in that video, then I don't know what an idiot is. As everyone here knows, if Allen's father wasn't a famous professional football coach, he would have never been elected to any office.
