Two words is all we need to win: "Had enough"
Did anyone hear Obama say this on Sunday in his speech in Iowa? I caught a little of his speech on C-Span (wow is he a good speaker, btw). He was actually quoting Newt Gingrich (who is still a political genius even if he is pure evil) but it is a very good summary of where we are after six years of bushco.

Did anyone else pick up on this? I'd love to see some ads with this.

1. His words were so on target, I made a sign for my car window
with just those words. "Had Enough" says it all. Ask it as a question or make it a statement. Either way, Yes, I've had enough and we should all think the same way. The complete speech was one of thought and reason. This man has a real political future.

enough with switching party votes. PIN IT ON THE republi-CONS.

I saw such a window sticker on a car I pulled in and parked next to at a local pet supply store a couple of days ago (Had ENOUGH? Vote Democratic), and I left a thank-you note on the windshield - saying "YES. I have HAD ENOUGH!!! THANK YOU!!!"

And yes, I was "SHOUTING"!!!

It made my day.

of parked cars that are emblazoned with obnoxious stickers like "w04" and "bush/cheney" and "freedom isn't free" and other such bullshit - inviting them to enlist:

Dear friend and fellow American:

I know how much you support President Bush and the war effort in Iraq. But I noticed that you haven’t signed up to fight yet. It might be because you are too busy, or maybe you just didn’t know how easy it is to join! I know you probably feel guilty about sending other young men and women off to die in your place, so I am sure you’ll take this opportunity to do the right thing:

Sign up for a tour or two in Iraq today!

You will enable some poor soldier who’s stuck there, exhausted, scared, isolated, frustrated, thirsty, poorly supplied, insufficiently armored, under constant threat, lied to about why he’s there and when he’s going to be released, and yearning to come home – to do just that: come home!

What could possibly be more patriotic?

What better way could there be to prove your devotion to President Bush?

“…And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land. God bless the U.S.A.”

I take no credit for this one. I found it on the internet and merely added one paragraph in the middle. I'm sorry I don't have the source of this in order to give proper credit - and it's been awhile since I first found it. I printed about 200 of these on yellow paper (chickenhawk color, dontcha know?) and I do place them on the windshields of cars that sport pro-bush bumper stickers. There was one big-ass pickup truck parked in the neighborhood with a whole lot of these, plus the usual nauseating "Freedom ISN'T Free" and "Support Our Troops" and yellow ribbons and stuff, plus the pro-bush ones. I just left a note on the windshielf of that one - 'cause it just made me furious: "Is your yellow ribbon buying them MORE BODY ARMOR???????"

Democratic Congressman is using that for his new campaign slogan - well not that exactly but "Time for a change". They are trying to tie their hopes to the backlash against "incumbants" in general. The MSM is floating this story as well - now all incumbants are bad.

8. Two words are "paper ballot"
I think we already have the hearts and minds. We just need to be able to count the votes.
