Is it just me, or is "My Country Desires Peace" nothing more than the latest Karen Hughes-penned Bush feel-good slogan, like "Mission Accomplished" and "The economy is strong, and getting stronger?



Second, how many of you get immediately pissed off when Junior refers to the U.S. as "My country?"

Third, Can you imagine Lee "God Bless The USA" Greenwood, eyes closed tightly, a slight waver in his voice as he croons "My country...tis of thee...sweet land of liberty...we desire peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeace?"
