He also said that Chavez is "trash talking" at the UN. But it was a good thing that he gave a mini history lesson of the W administration's involvement in Venezuela. He pointed out that Chavez is an elected leader and we backed the short lived coup back in 2002.

2. I was glad to hear Alter say that!

But he also just now said that the trash talk at the UN may help the Repukes because people don't like to hear their country's leaders put down. I can't agree with that one. But I can only speak for myself. Hearing Chavez speak earlier gave me a sort of Mike Malloy "fix" today.
