So why did this administration put Republican toadies in charge |
|
of rebuilding Iraq?
Would staffing the mission with the best and brightest make the pillaging, graft, and embezzling harder to pull off? Will the corporate media look into this? Not holding my breath.

1. I think they see it as good "business". And of course, their business is |
|
campaign contributions/ election work, not job specific performance. That and the necon true believers seemed to get the operational appointments in Iraq, which they screwed up royally.

3. I wonder how much of that taxpayer money has been repatriated as RNC |
|
cash for the 2006 mid-terms?

2. They thought it would be a cakewalk and only wanted Repubes |
|
on the winning team, sharing in their glory.
Also, they have a complete inability to work with others.
Lastly, they didn't want any dirty Dems in on their plans for Syria and Iran.

4. If things went well, we would have had to leave. By putting |
|
incompetents in charge and shooting civilians at every chance, * has made Iraq a total mess.I believe it was on purpose.
