Ha, she pronounced it like a bass THE FISH not a bass ('base') guitar, does anybody else out there pronounce it like that??

Judy's face is so tight that when she crosses her knees her mouth opens....ha....old Phyllis Diller joke there, but sheeesh.

Anyhow, it says this album Kerry played on when he was 20-ish is out there on ebay!! THAT SHOULD BE FUNNY!

Bill Clinton got away with the sax on Arsenio but those tapes of Kerry with the guitar, hmmm....has anybody heard him play?

He was quite good, but definitely not rock and roll. More like classical in style, but he had the skill level to play other styles in my estimation.

9. Kerry At The Fillmore West

Training was tough, and exhilarating. I also got some plum training assignments-- I first went to California as a freshly minted naval officer and was assigned to remarkably difficult duty -- Treasure Island, San Francisco. I got to know San Francisco dangerously well for a 23 year old as I learned how to navigate complex challenges -- the Fillmore West, the Grateful Dead, and the Rolling Stones.

After coming back from my first tour of duty in Vietnam, I was then assigned gunboat command and went to Coronado, San Diego to train. Again it was tough -- living in an apartment on Pacific Beach -- surfing everyday until we dropped -- returning from survival training in the mountains to the greatest beer I ever tasted.

We made the most of that time, feeling very young and invincible even as we trained for the missions of our lives.

She pronounced it that way so people wouldn't think Kerry was actually playing electric bass, which is a cool instrument. Plus, she rhymed it with ass which might have subconscious connotations.
