Felix Allen: "I still had a ham sandwich for lunch."
Felix's latest gaffe, in explaining to the Richmond TImes Dispatch that his being Jewish and having forgotten it for most of his adult life is just an "interesting nuance to my background."

Says Felix, in reassuring all of us of his true blue gentileness: "I still had a ham sandwich for lunch. And my mother made great pork chops."

3. Oh brother!
Drum is pure Dem, and even he wants Allen to s.t.f.u...it's just gotten unbearably embarrassing.
Shut up, Felix, and ya still may get a couple of votes, even if you can't assume the votes of your relatives anymore.

7. There's that old saying about when your opponent is hanging himself
Just give him a rope and get out of the way. Although apparently Felix keeps a noose in his law office, so Webb doesn't even have to do that.

8. this isn't really a gaffe
sure it makes him look like a dopey asshole to people who ... well, let's say people who aren't dopey assholes. But unfortunately, his "base" will probably eat this up (no pun intended).

9. I'm Jewish
...and I don't want him in my club. Tell the Grand Wizard to let George keep the sheet and pointy hood. He can hang it up right next to his confederate flag.

BTW, of all the meat out there, pork is gonna kill ya before anything else. Its biochemistry is so close to that of a human, it can stay in your colon for up to 7 years, fermenting and releasing all sorts of bacteria and disease.

Enjoy your sandwich, George!

11. Ah, so that's why it's not good for you. I'm not Jewish, but do know
it's restricted in the TNK. I just took pigs being unclean because of how they play in mud and eat garbage, which in itself doesn't sound good.

What about it being close makes the stomach not digest it faster? A little more information please.

25. The best diet includes all the food groups in moderate quantities..
My formula is 10% meat, 25% cereals such as wheat/rice/corn,
20% vegetables, 10% fruit, 10% nuts, 10% dairy,
and remaining calories in anything you really enjoy
such as fish & shell fish, chocolates, brown sugar, honey, etc.

29. I'll be honest with you....
...even tho I've been veggie for years, I believe humans are omnivores. However, I think since our ancestors didn't evolve by eating processed, chemical foods nor meat with bovine growth hormone and chicken with anti-biotics to keep them from getting sick by being packed into the factory farm in small cages, then our healthiest option in the 21st century is to eat as much of a botanical diet as possible. And yes, the agri-business and pesticides are bad, but remember, the animals we eat have digested the same toxic botanical matter.

Halal or kosher beef is better. (and seriously, forget pork!)

31. I agree that domestic foodstock animals are badly treated.
And that disturbs me...a lot. Something that has always given me pause is that by and large humans
generally only eat herbivore animals. I guess some of "us" eat cats which are strictly carnivores (I've had some dishes in Asia with 'interesting' flavors, but didn't ask nor even want to know)

We kill deer on a fairly regular basis. Venison is delicious. And yes, humans are indeed omnivores;
whether that's a good thing or not I can't judge...it is what it is. If it weren't for technology, we
probably wouldn't be at the top of the 'food chain.'

Actually I think all Webb has to do is to show footage of Allen and the whole Macaca thing over and over again. He wouldn't even have to say anything.

16. A person's heritage should not be held against him...
...unless he is ASHAMED of it, as only a bigot might be. All indications are that Allen is ashamed that his mother comes from Tunisia and is an African Jewess!

His attempts to deny this by saying she embraced Christianity and served ham and pork chops to her family are pathetic. So too is his claim that he only learned recently that his maternal grandfather was Jewish.

The only bright spot I can see in this mess is that there will now be a lot of voters in Virginia who will think twice before voting for this fool.
