I hope this isn't a pattern of hers. She can't help it but her "little girl's voice" is, IMO, as irritating as Rita Cosby's raspy vocalizations.

She is from Rollcall & the have been using her on the last hour every day for the last couple of weeks. I guess they are planning to replace the woman who is the CEO of C-span, she has been missing for a week or two I can't think of her name.

edit: Connie Doebele, she is the Executive Producer of Wasington Journal, not the Ceo, Brian is the CEO. Doh!

Now I know how those folks who hate Rita Cosby's voice feels. A little girl's type voice is like nails across the chalk board for me, but that's my personal problem - I freely admit my faults, sometimes. :blush:

Since I enjoy Washington Journal, I'll have to adjust accordingly. Perhaps entertain myself by fantasizing the end of a Romper Room Program, Where Mrs. Somebody looks through her invisible Magic Mirror and says, "I see Mary, Robin, Tim, Emile." :rofl: In other words, I'm just going to have to use my imagination and sense of humor to get over the pitch of her voice. :crazy: ;)
