power come January. If there were any chance that subpoenas would start flying in the new Congress, some of the more cowardly Repubs would have stodd agains the worst of Bush. For them to retroactively pardon him for war crimes means they have been told that no one will be held to account.

1. So, in another thread you say that Jeb Bush will be president in 2008. |
|
What gives with the negative attitude?

4. Pardon? Alert! Jeb Bush IS a Repub! |
|
And someone's so called negative attitude is another's reality. Do recall how you felt on post-election day in 2000 and 2004. History does have a way of repeating itself.

5. I'm thinking how I'll feel post-election day 2006. |
|
I prefer to think that I'll feel pretty good. On the reality side, I've worked hard so that history does not repeat itself and will continue that work on the Casey campaign here in PA. There's lots of reason for cautious optimism.
I'll also be doing what I can for my rep, John Murtha.

I preferred to think the same in 2000 and 2004. You know where that got me. But, dream on if it makes you feel better.

9. I have asked this a number of times, Watcher |
|
and all I ever get in response is "quit whining".
There will not be enough voting machines in the Dem precincts in OH. Of this you can be certain. Many Dems who do make it to the poll will be turned away because they've been mysteriously removed from the voter rolls.

3. Do we KNOW Bush got what he wanted? |
|
On Olbermann tonight he pointed out that both Bush and McCain claimed they got what they wanted and I heard most people saying that the WH blinked-not McCain and the others...

8. Smirk got the right to go on torturing people, |
|
which is what he wanted. Tony Snow-job told everyone that Smirk got what he wanted.
