Up to this point - things seem to be caving in on * and the Repugs. It's looking more and more that the American people and the world has *'s number and that perhaps the Dems will take the House and/or Senate in November.

So - things are rather desperate now and the Neocons know that in order to realize the fulfillment of their plans they need to continue to hold on to and grab more power.

Just sitting thinking about the last couple of weeks of *'s parading around the country talking terrorism; his interviews with the likes of Wolf & colleagues; the UN speech; the standoff with his own party on torture; the revelation of bombing Pakistan back into the stoneage; the threatening talk about Iran which is a repeat of the talk about Iraq before Shock & Awe; the talk that Rove has an October surprise and now *'s meeting with Mushariff.

All this suggests to me that it's time to pull the major rabbit out of the hat and present to the world OBL - head on platter.

I just got this sneakin' suspicion that this is going to happen before the election.

Am I alone in this thinkin' or am I on the right track?

Then the MSM can spend the rest of the election period arguing about when he was caught all the way to the election. Two bits there is hardly any election talk ar candidate interviews from now till election day. Rove has weeks of stories backlogged in his office safe.

And wasn't it convenient or a coincident that those 14 terrorists were brought here to put on trial just before the election when they have had 3 years to do so. I hate these bastards!

We go cowboy and strike anyway (I can just hear "sometimes you have to do what's right rather than what's legal). Or, in this "Wag the Dog" world, we at least show footage of missles impacting desert/cavernous area in, oh I don't know, Nevada?.

If the threat goes down, Republicans lose. They have to show that there is still this terrible looming threat that only the Repulicans can protect us from.

I would expect some sort of primetime terrorist event that can be watched on tv as the FBI and ATF move in and bust some terrorists as they flee down the highway on their way to blow something up. The FBI will catch them and find all sorts of scary equipment in the vehicle. It will all be shown live on TV, filmed from a helicopter like they do those high speed chases.
