George Felix Allen Is A Racist

We have a DUer who witnessed his racism in a California high school.

We have 3 team mates who witnessed his racism in college.

We have the noose incident in his office.

We have the macaca incident.

We have him denying his Jewish heritage and considering it an insult for anyone to suggest that he's Jewish.

He's a racist, pure and simple. If DU can't agree on that, with all the evidence at hand, then what the hell can we agree on?

There's a pattern of racism, not just a 30 year old comment. He's recently used racial slurs, unlike his opponent. We have a right to expect our fellow citizens to not elect racists into OUR Senate.

Now does anybody really and truly disagree with this??

I can argue about just about anything, anywhere, at any time. But to argue about these racist comments of Allen's, that's just beyond belief to me. I don't see how it gets any clearer, and it certainly isn't petty.

12. I don't know of anyone on DU who doesn't think Allen's a racist.

My dad is not quite as liberal as I am and tends to try and find obscure explanations for people's words, but when the macaca issue came up in the MTP debate and Allen tried whatever excuse he's using these days, he immediately believed that Allen is a racist.

Some said he had used it a long time ago and it was petty. Others said Webb had made comments about women. Some compared it to Byrd. I was amazed that anybody could have an opposing view on something so blatant, but they did. :crazy:
