Dean brings a lot to the table. I have to admit, I'd have a hard time if Dean doesn't make it. I'm probably like the guy who might vote for the nominee, or perhaps I'd go Green. Having Dean on the ticket, might just keep me working for him, as VP, and solve my ethical dilemna against Skull and Crossbones Kerry.

I don't think that will happen with Kerry, no matter what went on today on Crossfire. It'd be a total non-Southern strategy, which would be against the norm, though plausable. I live in the South, and we are generally the poorest most deprived region of the country, and still, many vote Republican, and drive to their trailor park in a smoking '72 pontiac with clicking valves. It's crazy, but we've got a lot of ignorant people that are highly succeptable to conservative racial manipulation.

Of course, from seeing the way these folks are voting against their own beliefs all over the US, it would seem the South isn't the only region with a lot of sheeple, who vote for Dionne Warwick's psychic-media-predictions of Kerry's electability. Dim bulbs everywhere, I guess. I thought Dean was the guy with spinal problems. It would seem that problem plagues Democratic voters.

Acknowledging that his bid for the Democratic presidential nomination is "a longer shot than it was," Howard Dean suggested today that he would accept the No. 2 spot on a national ticket if it were offered.

"I would, to the extent, do anything I could to get rid of President Bush," Dr. Dean said on a morning radio program in Milwaukee. `I'll do whatever is best for the party. Obviously, I'm running for president, but whatever's best is what I'll do. Anything. We've just got to change presidents. We're really hurting right now.`

11. What would be the point?

I am at a complete loss as to what Howard Dean would bring to either a Kerry, Edwards, or Clark ticket.

If Kerry is the nominee, Edwards or Clark are smart choices for VP because they can help in the South.

If Edwards in the Nominee, Clark or Kerry is a smart choice for VP to bring military experience to the ticket.

I suppose if Clark is the nominee he might want to pick someone with more government experience, but I think there are plenty of people that could deliver that without all of Dean's baggage.

It brings in massive union support and the entire midwest, which has a lot of staes with a lot more electoral votes than the south, with the exclusion of Texas and Florida whihc carry most of the souths electoral votes. Bush is likely to take Texas, but Kerry is looking very good in Florida, with a good chance of beating Bush in the General Elections. While the south is important, it is not necessary to carry the entire south or even the proclaimed five southern states to beat Bush.
