Allen - "n-word" but no "deer-head" that I heard in network or cable news

Did anyone hear anyone discuss/cover the far more inflammatory part of the Allen story? I didn't. This was reported in Salon, which as far as I know is regarded as a credible news source. Did I just miss it, or are they intentionally not covering part two - the "disturbing deer hunt"?

1. Tweety mentioned Salon today, and Allen, but not the deer head.

The 'n' word was discussed at length.

If he mentioned Salon, he knew the whole reported story

not just the half he talked about.I never noticed any reticence on his part before if the unflattering report had to do with Dems - he was all Swiftboats all the time. Why this editing of this part of a story? It's not just use of the n-word - it is actual possible hate crime (with a witness who has stepped forward.)

7. If I recall, Tweets used to back Allen as the new repug messiah not

so long ago. Maybe they're friends, or he's waiting for 'definitive' proof, or more likely, someone else to bring it up first.
Maybe the repugs are trying to figure out how to make this into a 'swiftboat' attack.
I put nothing past them.

Shelton said he also remembers a disturbing deer hunting trip with Allen on land that was owned by the family of Billy Lanahan, a wide receiver on the team. After they had killed a deer, Shelton said he remembers Allen asking Lanahan where the local black residents lived. Shelton said Allen then drove the three of them to that neighborhood with the severed head of the deer. "He proceeded to take the doe's head and stuff it into a mailbox," Shelton said.
