CW - BC - KO - and perhaps a future VP?
I read the transcript of the CW/BC interview soon after it hit the internet. My immediate thoughts were: Elected Democrats - WAKE UP. If any elected Democrat won't stand up NOW and be counted, then they are spinless worthless worms. The party HAS to get together and start telling the truth. This thing about just being quiet and letting the repubs destroy themselves just is NOT the way to go. Every repub ad on radio/tv should be answered and especially when they lie about what the democrats are doing.
KO said it far better than I ever could - god, I wish I could put words together like he does.
PLEASE - SENATORS AND REPRESENTIVIES - STOP BEING SPINLESS, and get back to giving you democratic supports a reason to want to continue supporting you (that is, vote for you next election), else I hope you get booted out along with the repubs. (Also, stop being shills for your weathly generous lobbiest.

One other thought, I don't believe the law that says a president can't run for election for more than 2 terms says anything about not being able to run as a Vice President!!

1. Spineless or DINO, that's seems to be the trademark of the
democratic party.

Rolled over and played dead during two, not one but TWO stolen elections. In fact, told anyone who questioned the results in Ohio that they were wrong.

Wonder how they feel now that the truth is sneaking out and their gutlessness is showing? Or do they still think that just because they say something, that makes it so? Like the attacks on Iraq are justified? The people of the party tried to tell them differently. If we knew better, they most certainly should have know better.

2. Actually, quite a few Dems have been speaking out.
My personal favorite, Wes Clark, has blasted Bush and his cronies for years now - even calling for Rummy's resignation well before all the other retired generals did.

The problem is the media: these Dems either don't get coverage at all (like Clark) or they're made by the media to be "outside the mainstream" like Dean.

There are a lot of Dems speaking out: Clark, Dean, Conyers, Gore, Feingold - but, as the proverbial tree falling in an empty forest, without a media platform, no one hears it.

3. Sorry, but you're wrong
One of the requirements to be Vice-President is that you be eligible to be President, which Bill Clinton is not. He cannot be a VP. Nor would he ever want to be, so it's all moot.

4. Just For the Record,...
---- Gen. Wes Clark,... also my favorite for the presidential nomination, has stated in the past that he would not be interested in the VP slot on the ticket.
