PPT: Bush has noticed "great increase" in people who say they pray for him
PRAYER AND FAITH IN THE NEWS

President Bush Ponders Religious Revival in the U.S.--Because So Many Say They Pray for HIm

Politicians and babies will always go together, but President Bush says he has noticed a great increase in people telling him they pray for him. The uptick has occurred since the 9-11 terror attacks and coincides with the rise of The Presidential Prayer Team. Photo courtesy of the White House.

Does Christianity pose a threat in America? Apparently it depends on who you ask: President Bush ... or Rosie O'Donnell.

President Bush says he senses a religious revival that could be America's Third Great Awakening. In an interview with Associated Press, National Review editor Rich Lowry says the president shared that view with him and other conservative journalists at a White House meeting on Tuesday. Read more.

"Pray for President Bush in the aftermath of his participation at the United Nations"...

"In light of the verbal attacks leveled against President Bush from the podium of the United Nations, pray for a continued sense of peace and purpose for the President, asking God to strengthen him with His grace. As two demagogues have been given a voice on the world stage, pray that their words will not inflame innocent or gullible people in the world. Pray that this travesty will work, perhaps by way of backlash, to increase respect for the office of the presidency...."

4. I regularly pray for January 2008 to arrive ASAP...
...so between your prayers and mine, it's safe to say that there are "two prayers for president Bush." I hope he can feel them.

21. I pray daily for him.
More accurately, I pray that the Dems take over one or both houses of Congress in November & leave his agenda in the toilet where it belongs, thus consigning him to the dustbin of history, where he will be regarded as the worthless failure that he truly is.

Count me in for the Presidential Prayer Team! :sarcasm:

You can do better than that. I pray for him to get napalm-filled exploding hemorrhoids on his ass and to be dissipated in a plume of fire and smoke.

10. My idiot family prays for Armageddon
They worship the ground that fucking coke snorting drunk walks on. They've been totally brainwashed by the evil sleaze that runs the piece of shit ASSemblies of God. They bullshit about Jesus but follow Ayn Rand. They blame every bad thing in the world on the Clenis and the Clintoris.
I've seen what Christianity has done to my family, turning them all into Jesus zombies with hearts of stone.

I despise everything that Christianity stands for.

9. My prayer
is, and has been, that as he sows, so shall he reap. The things that he has done unto the least of us, will be returned to him many times over. There can be no prayer more fair than that. I pray that what he has done will be returned to him tenfold.

13. I look at how Reagan wound up
After he destroyed the lives of millions of steelworkers and drove a lot of good men to suicide because they could no longer provide for their families. If ever someone deserved getting Karma to bite them back, it was that evel prunefaced prick. Alzheimers was his Karmic payback.

I hope the Democrats start asking about all those unsupervised visits Jeff the Gay Hustler made to the White House. I hope some Secret Service Agents come forward and spill the beans about Gannon and Bush. Then lets see how the assholes who run the "Presidential Prayer Team" react.

18. Amen!
I feel that Bush's "reward", in the sense of reaping what you sow, will be a fate more unpleasant than St. Ronnie's. Whatever happens, though, will be determined by God, or the fates, and not brought about by our hands, because I am opposed to violence, and the death penalty. For a man who claims to talk to God, and get messages in return, I'm sure Dubya will understand the justice of his sentence.

11. George Bush's mind-
"Everyone loves me! Everyone loves me! I think I'll stuff my crotch full of socks and dress up in my flight suit again! Everyone loves me! I may may have abysmally low approval ratings! World leaders may get up in front of the U.N and say things about me they wouldn't have dared say to other presidents! But I don't care! Everyone loves me! Everyone prays for me! You want me to read My Pet Goat? Everyone loves me!"

14. I pray for President Bush...
I pray that he will have a long and healthy life. I pray that he will live long enough to see himself reviled across America as the enemy of liberty and justice. I pray that he will live for years with the knowledge and understanding that all the peoples of the world see him for what he is - a miserable failure, a shallow and callow creature who damaged and destroyed everything he touched. I pray that he will live out his years experiencing the unending sadness and grief that he has caused to so many. I pray he will live that long life in a jail cell as a convicted war criminal. I pray that his co-conspirators share that same fate.

I pray that his God has more forgiveness than I, because I have none for him.

15. That's because so many people think he is going straight to hell
and he NEEDS lots of prayers. If they thought he was doing a good honest job there wouldn't need to be so many prayers. Right?

I pray that they all wind up in the Hague ASAP.

Edited to add: Someone REALLY needs to photoshop a banana into *'s hand in that second pic.
I'd do it but I don't know how! ;) And I don't have photoshop.
