A few days ago the DSCC began running this ad in the Baltimore/Washington region. Its is a counter ad to Steele's puppy ad.

imo, it's perfect - upbeat and fun, but very hard hitting.

Steele <3's George Bush
1. Supports Bush's War.
2. Supports Bush's Stem Cell veto.
3. Does NOT support a womans right to choose.

1. I thought that it was a great commercial.

While Steele discusses puppies, Democrats talk about the issues!!

2. Cracked me up when I saw it last night! They totally countered

what his ad said they would say (he warned of negative stuff, scary music) and they had the silliest upbeat twangy music. Verrrry funny! Loved it.

3. Haven't Seen the Counter Ads

but they're badly needed. The Steele ads are pretty good -- they make him look human. The association with Bush should be especially effective at at dissuading African-American voters from crossing over.

4. Steele's television ad campaign...

has to be the singularly worst and most embarrassing in the history of political races. He comes off like a buffoon. It's completely and totally condescending to his audience.

I'm all for shaking things up a bit, and not being a cookie cutter candidate, but this was just pathetic.
