I also heard this morning that the report was supposedly available to Congress (all members) as early as April. I call bullshit on that one.

Then again as they have almost total control of the mainstream network media message at this point (PT911, Chris Wallace, mediawhore chorus, etc. etc. etc.) they don't rely on brilliance they rely on bamboozlement via a deluge of coordinated bullshit and outright fraud at the polls. We are so fucked.

5. We need to have our representatives in Washington demand

that the balance of the report be released. Four pages to test the waters and begin the deflection of its impact is not enough.

They are trying to limit the losses. The base will not even read the report. But by Bush declassifying this NIE they will feel emboldened again.

7. My guess

as heard from NPR this morning, there is a second NIE report specifically about Iraq. I believe it was Nancy Pelosi they had speaking about it. This second report is supposedly MUCH more damaging than the one released yesterday. By releasing parts of this, * can answer any questions about "releasing the NIE report" and tap dance his way around reporters.
Also, the second report is unavailable to Congress, because it is still labelled as "draft". (another way to hide information)
