Republican forum posts. Angry and violent.
I was shocked reading this. These people ENJOY the thought of torturing others.

Thread entitled: Torture is wrong. You thoughts.

"Hey civilization where have you been.Torturing prisoners might effect our soldiers. You make it sound like these terrorists are going to stop chopping heads and limbs from our soldiers if we play nice.Flush the geneva convention B.S down the toilet and let's start making the rules as we see fit.Not letting a prisoner sleep is a far cry from a cigarette being put out on your chest or electric cables on your genitals. This notion that America has to follow the rules while stinkin muslims don't is the reason we're bogged down.Let the military take care of getting answers from these animals not ted kennedy and his band of anti-american democrats."

Drinky drinky Mohammed.

My opinion.

These animals understand one thing: violence. If word got out that we did torture or whatever, it certainly would make them think twice. I don't live in a Pollyanna world where I think that IslamOfacists don't torture westerners. They will and do whenever they can. These people are cowards and we need to let the hammer fall. They want violence? We are the ones to give it to them. There is no dialog with these animals. They will stop at nothing to kill us. It's time for us to grow a spine and start giving it back to them. Only then they will understand that, gee, maybe we shouldn't threaten or attack the US, they might fight back and really hurt us.

I'm tired of pandering and pc crap. They need to be slapped around. Hard.

They perceive our limp-wristed treatment of them and weakness and that empowers them even more. Beat the crap out of them every morning, torture them, saw their heads off and take away their korans...Seperation of church and state.

3. Hitler knew the type and the Nazis used them effectively
Find the budding sadists and control freaks, give them a little authority and they will use it to indulge their urges. Once they take that bait they will be yours. You can keep them doing your dirty work, and keeping people in constant fear, because you have control of the drug they are addicted to: power over others with no accountability.

How do you hold down masses who outnumber you? Fear. And fear is not just a tool they use in Iraq.

The Nazis did not just use fear to control occupied populations. They used it at home to maintain and increase their power.

Remember Blackwater Guards in NOLA? They had license to kill. And America did not take to the streets at the news. All it takes is a few thugs turned loose and most people slink into their burrows and hope the troubles pass them by.

Great tool, identifying and focusing the sadists in any given population. They are happy to do the dirty work. It is a drug to them.

We need to understand this basic truth. Not everyone is inhibited with a moral compass. The bad guys count on the likelihood that most people think all others are basically good. We have to face the fact that there are a lot of really sick, inhumane people out there. Only then do we stand a chance of thwarting their baser instincts.

9. Permission granted to steal it and post it as a thread
I have to leave soon but if you post it, give me a PM so I can kick later.

People need to look at the ugly truth. There are too many, even on our side of the spectrum, that still wear rose colored glasses.

Thanks for the post. It means a lot to know I am not just addressing the wind ;)

7. All this will come home to roost
Disgruntled Vietnam vets will seem like well adjusted folk, compared to the sickness GWB and his torturing crews will be. Alcoholism, drug abuse, suicide, and violence in the home will skyrocket.

10. Do they really think things are as bad as they can get?
With that, "they're already beheading people" argument, they seem to think that the insurgency, terrorism etc. are already as bad as they could possibly be.

No, they are not. There is a pool of literally millions of potential terrorists and insurgent gunment out there. This bill may push one half of one percent of them into the anti-American movement. If so, this bill and the people who support it have just made a bad situation worse. How is that helping us and our soldiers? Besides, we won WWII and the Cold War by being better than our enemies. I thought that was something we were proud of. I guess not.

11. Sites like perspectives.com are useful in two ways
First, they provide an emotional outlet for the social psychopaths, mouth breathers and high school dropouts who might otherwise be beating up their wives and girlfriends, or standing arond on corners drinking MD20-20 out of paper bags.

Second, they draw all these cretins together in one place, so that after the UN take over the country we'll be able to send the black choppers straight to where they live. Within a few days we can have them all rounded up and shipped off to Guantanamo where they can experience first hand the joys of water boarding and having their nuts wired to a DieHard.

13. This line would be funny if it wasn't so tragic...
If word got out that we did torture or whatever, it certainly would make them think twice.

Right...We are dealing with individuals who will blow themselves up to take out a half dozen of the enemy. I'm sure they'll think twice if they might be tortured...:eyes:
