The Republican lock on suburban Seattle's 8th Congressional District may be weakening, according to a non-partisan poll released Wednesday.
Freshman Rep. Dave Reichert, R-Wash., and Democratic challenger Darcy Burner are "neck and neck," according to a KING/5 SurveyUSA poll.

Of the 536 likely voters interviewed between Thursday and Monday, 50 percent would vote to re-elect Reichert, 48 percent would vote for Burner. The poll's margin of sampling error is plus or minus 4.3 percentage points.
The 13-point lead Reichert held in a similar poll conducted by the same firm last month has disappeared.
