Watching the Senate since "*" has been like watching a Movie or Play
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 05:03 PM by KoKo01
lots of Magnificent Acting, Grandstanding and Hyperbole. But, it's like the movie "Ground Hog Day." It just keeps repeating and repeating. A tired script where one always hopes for a different ending...but the ending is always the same no matter how empassioned the speeches and how sound and grounded in the Constitution the arguments are the result is always the same....DEFEAT! DEFEAT! DEFEAT!

The laughter in the studio as the votes are recorded the parading around and the glad handing and backslapping is always the same...for the PATRIOT ACT/IRAQ WAR RESOLUTION and now THIS.

The Media reports are always the same.."P-Resident Bush won a great victory today up on the Hill." There is no other follow up by the Mainstream Media. After all they didn't really report on what the issues were for the same Movie/Same Script and same Cast of Characters.

It's really a FARCE. That REPEATS and REPEATS and REPEATS ...all the while enticing the "audience" to participate, when in fact the "audience" was left out of the decision making and ratings long ago.

It's very disheartening and tiresome. It leaves one feeling very hollow inside what is going on.

I think we need to destroy that Script that keeps repeating with the same ending. We need to REWRITE IT! WE NEED TO FIRE the WRITERS, PRODUCERS and the CAST and start AFRESH. This just can't go on any longer.

HAD ENOUGH? WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT IT?

1. The saddest part about this thing is that it won't help them stop
any terrorists. It's purpose is to provide a legal cover for abuse that has already taken place. All this grandstanding about protecting the citizens and homeland is all bullshit, any apparatus that might be necessary to do that is either already in place or doesn't exist.

4. They have no intention of representing us. They repreesnt GM, Walmart,
Halliburton, Exxon, Shell, etc. etc. It's just that they've stopped pretending to represent us, even a little bit.
