O'Reilly on Iraq: I "ouldn't care less about the country"

On the September 25 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Bill O'Reilly declared: "I don't care what Iraq was, I don't care what it will be. I just don't want them killing anybody or helping Al Qaeda." O'Reilly added that he "couldn't care less" about Iraq. But in the past, O'Reilly has criticized those who didn't "care" about Iraq becoming a democracy. For example, on the January 24, 2005, edition of Fox News' The O'Reilly Factor, while criticizing war critics, O'Reilly stated: "Now, you would think everyone in the world who values freedom would be rooting for the Iraqis to have them, but they are not."

2. New Republican talking point

Yes, their new talking point is that Iraq is not worth talking about. Here's an excerpt from something Lott said:

Speaking shortly after a meeting with President Bush and Vice President Cheney, Lott added that Iraq wasn’t among the White House’s priorities.

“No, none of that,” Lott told reporters after the session when asked if the Iraq war was discussed. “You’re the only ones who obsess on that. We don’t and the real people out in the real world don’t for the most part.“

3. I'm surprised he didn't say the US.

The Big Giant Head only cares about the Big Giant Head. I mean, the man is more of a victim than 9/11 widows and wounded Iraq and Afghanistan vets, at least if you ask him.

Hell, he'll tell you the same whether he's asked or not.
