Dobbs Poll on Canada/US/Mexico Merger
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/

From the present percentage against the idea, do you suppose they'll drop their efforts? 96% against

How many things does GW want to change before he leaves office? WILL he ever leave office?

3. Going to merger Canada, US and Mexico?
You sure you want 32 million LIBERAL universal healthcare lovers have the capacity to vote?????????? Bwahahahahaha

More seriously--I can tell you definitavely that if this were to occur, Canadians would revolt. BIG TIME. Harper is the perfect man for the job--but ordinary canucks would fight this tooth and nail.
And sadly, I said this to my 14 yr old son who wants to join the canadian military once he grows up....I said, you would not be joining the canadian military. He asked "Why not?" I said-- because there won't be one. By that time, the US will have taken us over and Canada will cease to exist.
I had no idea that this could actually happen. Sad days.....

5. No offense, neighbor, but I think he'd best leave well enough alone.
This has to be another hare-brained plan that has not been thought out clearly enough to work...look at Iraq.

As someone once said...If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

He seems to put a lot of confidence in their opinions...well, so long as they are the same as his.

6. I am against

Why would Mexico and Canada want to merge with us? It is exactly what this country does not need nor was not meant to be. An empire. We don't need anymore states and in fact, we don't even need territories. I am against this country having any dominion overseas. Why should it be any different on this continent?

Of course I voted "No" because I am not surprised the Bushites suggested this idea. They are after all Imperialists.

11. "Why would Mexico and Canada want to merge with us?"
I have no idea why Canada would want to merge with us (except maybe for easy access to beaches in the winter.)

As for Mexico, things must be pretty bad there, since a significant portion of their population seems motivated to immigrate here without a merger. Perhaps their ruling class, though, likes things the way they are, since they would lose much of their political and economic power after a merger.

And the Wal*Mart port/super highway deal, I think that south of the boarders is already there. However I don't think our northern friends are going to take kindly to this . Every time I encounter a Canadian, the conversation gets to, why the hell did you ever elect Bush.....twice!? Ehy....

9. The original Chickenhwks invaded Canada in 1812. The main result
was the burning of Washington. I hope the Canadians do even better this time.

12. This is a phony issue.
It's typical of Dobbs' daily reason-to-be-outraged style of broadcast. Dobbs stole the format from Limbaugh and O'Reilly... phony stories, made up outrages.
