1. Those in the chamber who supported the bill were heard saying..
"oink" in approval as opposed to the usual "yea".

5. Stabenow.. my senator
I just sent a scathing e-mail to her. I've never been that thrilled with her, but this is beyond the pale. I am thoroughly disgusted.

6. Pryor has lost my vote
I didn't like Mark Pryor before, but now I cannot stomach voting for him. I won't vote for a Repuke, so I'll sit it out until he has a challenger in a Democratic primary - probably will never happen, but we can hope.

Liebermann actually bothered to show up for this vote. An action befitting a man who is a coward to his very soul.

8. I don't see Chaffee on that list. Did he vote against it?
If he did, then I acknowledge him as more of a Democrat than 12 "Democrats".

11. 2/3 of the Senate voted to let Smirk toture people at will
You think 2/3 of the American populace supports that position? If you think we have representative government, let me sell you a bridge.

12. Florida - the Torture State...
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 09:47 PM by ddeclue
Maybe we can get an S&M theme park now that both of our Senators have voted for torture.. (I'm so ashamed of my state...)

I wrote them both and gave them a piece of my mind. (And yes I wrote many letters before the vote on this subject too..)
