little punishment deserved called for at a time that it was impossible that it could happen.
Censuring is not more than a slap on the hand, which in light of the offenses committed wouldn't have been appropriate, as it would have simply turned the page on the chapter of Bush's lies and deceit without any real significant further serious repercutions.
In addition, had Bush been censured (which wasn't gonna happen anyways making it a road to nowhere )....Democrats would have had to STFU about it after it happened (which it wouldn't have anyways) and they wouldn't have been able to refer to all of the fucked up things that Bush has done....cause folks would have said..."alright, already....the man's been censored! Why beat a dead horse into the ground? Give the guy a break!"....i.e., illiciting sympathy for Bush who wouldn't have gotten anything but a slap on the hand to begin with. :eyes:
Further, those who "like" Bush would have continued to "Like Bush"......
Conclusions-- Calling for censuring Bush would have never happened and was not the appropriate punishment anyways, so why propose it at the time that it was?
You tell me.
