What is wrong with Republican pols? Why do so many get caught up in

sexual scandals, particularly of the pedophilia variety. Sure it happens with Democratic politicians as well, but it seems that three times out of four it is a Republican. Foley is just the latest example. What is it about being a Republican pol that makes one more likely to be a sexual pervert?

1. Because they believe they are above the fray....

They have this notion of superiorority....kinda like the Nazi's...

2. I think it's the other way around.

Perverts tend to come from rigid and abusive backgrounds. Rigidity and abuse are Republican family values, so such people also gravitate to the GOP.

are, themselves, tempted, and they think either that that strictness will save them or that everyone is equally tempted and needs the same kind of discipline.

If they make it big in the Republican Party, it's going to be because they don't care if people starve or die or suffer or lose their rights. Not respecting someone's boundaries is basically part of all that.
