Tweety cuts off Repug Marsha Blackburn
She doesn't believe the poll that says Iraqis want to kill Americans. Chris said "that ends this conversation". She's an R from a district adjacent to mine- any question Tweety asked her she repeated talking points like a robot. It's hard to believe people are down on Harold Ford Jr. for being too conservative in a state where we have so many kool aid drinking extreme right wingers.

2. She was saying "Democrats don't have a plan"...
like a robot. I think she's a Stepford Wife under that fake blonde head.

3. "Does not compute...does not compute..."
What do the rethugs say if they get asked a question they haven't been given an answer for?

Does smoke start coming out of their ears? Do lights start flashing??

Does this mean that Tweety got his spine back from the pawn shop??

4. Surely more than 90% of her constituents are greatly harmed, but her
re-election is as certain a snowball would melt in hell.

can tell you first hand that your assessment is right on the mark.
She's a 100% self-serving repuglibot.
It's Rove in, Rove out all the way.

And I understand that she's had trouble holding onto
her hired help lately.

7. What else can she do?
She's leveraged to the hilt on the "liberation" bit. Her district is very Christian and can only put up with the killing so long as it's spun as "liberation". She has no choice but to stick to her guns.

8. I'm starting to think...
"Christian" equals "stupid" in this country, I mean how delusional can these people continue to be?

9. Thank you
It's great to be here. Unfortunately, though, irrationality isn't limited to the Christian religion and the bleaker folks' material existence become the more they will flock to mysticism where folks such as Pat Robertson are eagerly awaiting them. Reminds me of Moore's film "Roger and Me". Classic.

11. You are right
We are quite affluent here. However, I think that if these folks saw the aggression against Iraq for what it really is then the money wouldn't matter. The afterlife means alot to these people. Jesus fish are outnumbered only by American flags on peoples vehicles here. They truly believe it is liberation in the vein of the Church's liberation (and plunder) of the New World several centuries ago.
