I'm getting really sick of people saying that the Bush/Rove framing is about fear. That's wrong. It's about anger. The people who vote for Bush and his giggling fan club in the GOP controlled Congress are voting retaliation and anger. They are not saying "Protect me, Dubya!" They are saying "Sic 'em, Dubya!"

Do we somehow think we are going to shame people away from Dubya by implying that they are "scaredy-cats?" Do we think we are going to defeat politically motivated tampering with the Constitution by saying it is being supported out of cowardice? It won't work, because it is wrong.

The way to defeat Bush is to make anger work for us. The anger is there. We want it directed at Bin Laden for attacking us, and at the GOP for their dunderheaded, klutzy, stupid leadership. Not only did we not get any payback from Bin Laden, we got damaged, deceived, bled, and soaked by a bunch of half-liars, half-nitwits.

Make the people angry at the GOP. Make them the whipping boy.

Or keep calling people chicksh*ts and make them angry at us.
