At his age? This wasn't the first time.

Now that its out, we are going to get to hear from a string of minors of varying ages about contact with Foley.

And we are going to hear how Republican leadership knew about it.

And all will be right in the world

I knew we would lose in 04, and until tonight, we were going to lose in 06 by 2-3 seats.

But not anymore.

Its on.

Try getting evangelists to turn out for the party that knew about a child molester.

10. Evangelicals are not that effective as a voting bloc in
a unigue congressional seat...

You would have to decern how many Evangelical or Pentacostal people resided in a given seat to even think about projecting their effect on a national election parced by districts....

11. Yes...I'm still pissed over the Fitzmas that never happened.
Rule #1: Don't count chickens until they hatch.

Rule #2: George W. Bush got a second term. Doesn't matter if he stole it or won it...he got it. How many times a day does the "Can there really be that many stupid people in America" question get asked on DU? Tonight Bill Maher called him "That rodeo clown who's running the country." He's an idiot, he's a dry drunk, he went AWOL, he's a failed businessman (several times over), he was a "C" student (and it shows), he's a classic Oedipal accident waiting to happen, he's a Connecticut frat boy cheerleader who thinks he's a cowboy but he's afraid of horses, and he's President of the United States until January 2008.

Rule #3: George W. Bush never dropped out of the 30s in the polls, no matter how badly he fucked up. As a matter of fact, he gets back into the 40s before dropping down again.

Rule #4: Rove walked away from Fitzgerald without a scratch. Sure, he squirmed. Sure, he had to pay the attorney. But he never got frog marched out of the White House. Bush couldn't catch Osama, Fitz couldn't catch Bush's Brain.

Rule #6: George Allen is being betrayed in some press circles as a martyr who's the subject of a witch hunt.

I could keep adding to the list, but I think the safest one to follow is Rule #1. That's why it's #1. Do that and keep your eyes on the prize and life gets a lot simpler....in my experience, anyway.

3. Good perception, perhaps, but if the repug leadership knew about
it, why didn't they say something?

6. They've known about it for years.
But they didn't want to endanger that seat with a non-incumbent.

Of course, they've had the spin set up for years as well.

Interesting Points:

1) They openly admit they've know about this for a year. That means there is evidence to that fact, and they are trying to get ahead of it.

2) Given the above, there is something worse coming down the pipe. They choose to admit to #1, so the mystical #3 must be a doozy.

4. I never expected to start winning until 2008.I thought it was too soon
that it would take more years to burn through all the rw bullshit, particularly the fundie stuff. I was pleasantly surprised when they
started talking wins, but didn't get my hopes up. However, this thing and all the others are really significant. There is hope yet.

12. It Seemed To Me, Ma'am
The gentleman was suggesting the thing would be turned into a circus sympathetic to the older partner, ala the teacher he named, but that lady had certain assets for such a production this critter lacks....

13. Ok, so I was right about this...what happens next?
What happens next is that Republicans dig around HARD to find ANY democrat that had even tertiary contact with this fucknut, and point at him, as if to say...

SEE, Democrats are also child molesters, just like we are, but who will you trust with your security?

Eh? Answer that?

The freepers need talking points badly. They've been left for two whole days without them on this issue...won't someone think of the freepers?
