Tools to prosecute and try terrorists.......
OK, I have heard this forever on almost all media, that Congress has "passed the tools to allow Bush to prosecute and try terrorists", referring to this latest torture bill, a black eye on America.

Which is an absolute lie and why many taking this BS at face value would say that Democrats who opposed this "detainee interrogation bill" (as these Bush sphincter-kissers call it) are weak on terror.

Can these asshole media be sued for this absolute pack of lies! I'll put money to any fund that will prosecute these media liars for gross negligence and intentional deception.

This is I think something to be pursued because I think they were intentionally lying.

1. Why can't they just report what it is?
What the bill does and says *literally* without fucking rephrasing it for us?

2. Report the entire bill?
Not practical; It's too long. They always paraphrase. The vote in the Senate was 65-34 so what else can they conclude? Democrats sell out to the upcoming election? Democrats fooled again? Seems to me that I've heard plenty of equal time to guys like Kerry and Murtha who have been the point on this.

3. There's paraphrasing, and there's that.
He wasn't given tools, he was given powers.

4. My suggestion
is to put your money into the tools to suppress terrorism directly, cut out the middle man.

you can still get a good AK and a tho o plinks for 500.

5. Maybe I don't know, but I thought
he could have charged them and prosecuted them long ago and already "had the tools" to do so from day one.

Am I wrong on this???

That is why I bring up the media "lies" that he now all of a sudden has this ability which did not exist before.....

6. The US already has courts.
Those existing courts have been used to convict terrorists.

We don't need to create courts in Cuba.
