Just got thru watching a "discussion" of the "congressional scandal" (notice not "REPUKE" scandal) on CNN with some repuke functionary - and he refused to get upset about the REPUKES covering up this shit for a YEAR!

He actually tried to claim the Democrats were playing "politics" with this!

I just couldn't believe it (actually, yes I could - but I was still speechless anyway!)

2. This is sooo true...

I was going back and forth with a repuke last night in a political chat-room on this subject and he made one excuse after another about Foley going after young teenage boys. He made some crude remarks about Barney Frank as if that somehow makes Foley's actions OK. I reminded him that, yes Barney Frank is gay but he only has sex with ADULTS. I basically made the same point you did...if the child molester has an "R" by his name they will try and excuse it... Thing was he got soooo defensive and indignant about the whole thing....
