New national poll numbers from Newsweek
The only number I know is right is Kerry's.

Kerry 48
Dean 13
Edwards 10
Clark 8

Bush approval
Approve 48
Disapprove 45
Don't know 7

Kerry vs. Bush 50-45

This was flashed on MSNBC

5. Hmmm...same pattern observed when Gore was leading....
Very interesting. Setting up the "fact" that they are "neck and neck"
and the selection will be "close". Its much easier to commit fraud
under these circumstances than when one has a clear lead over
the other.

Let's see what happens....

6. The Democrats are motivated and the GOP is fractured.
Bush has spent 4 years of hackneyed compromises and pandering in order to maintain his political career. The amnesty of immigrants, Bush's suicidal spending habit, the exploding national debt, his Medicare and prescription drug 'entitlement' bills... all of these things and others have turned off the real conservatives in his party.

8. General population
..even if I did not know that to be true (check pollingreport.com), I would doubt 45% of dems would be supporting Bush.
